Surgical Scrub Technician
Location: Rochester, NY
Shift: 10-Hour / 8 Hour - Evening / Day Shifts
Contract Length: 13 Weeks with potential for multiple extensions
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
Job Summary:
We are hiring Certified Surgical Scrub Technicians for a 13-week travel contract in our fast-paced and modern Operating Room. We're looking for skilled, experienced professionals who are ready to hit the ground running and thrive in a collaborative surgical environment.
This is a great opportunity to work in a 13-room OR suite handling a wide range of procedures, from total joint replacements to complex neuro and robotic surgeries. Candidates should be flexible, committed to patient safety, and highly proficient in the full spectrum of surgical specialties.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in prepping OR suites and setting up surgical instrumentation
- Scrub in for procedures including orthopedics, neuro, robotics, GYN, urology, general, and vascular
- Ensure aseptic techniques are followed at all times
- Maintain sterile field and support surgeons and RNs during procedures
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of surgical instruments and OR protocols
- Take 6 on-call shifts per 8-week block (3 weeknights 3 weekend/holiday shifts)
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years’ recent surgical scrub experience
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
Proficient in total joint replacement procedures
Experience across multiple surgical specialties (Ortho, Neuro, Robotics, GYN, Urology, General, Vascular)

Pay: $1,600.00 - $2,000.00 per week
