Job Title: Travel LPN
Location: North Carolina
Duration: 8 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36hrs. and 40hrs.
Pay Rate: $35 to $36/hr.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. This position offers an opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, home care, and occupational health.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any deviations to the supervising nurse or physician
- Assist in patient assessments and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop care plans
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations
- Perform wound care and dressing changes
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
Qualifications
- Must hold a current LPN license in the state of practice
- Experience or certification in areas such as botulinum toxin treatment, pain management, or infant care is advantageous
- Familiarity with Level II Trauma Center protocols is a plus
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential
- Ability to work effectively in diverse healthcare settings including hospital medicine, home community care, and occupational health settings
