LPN Med/Surg

Job Title: Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Float Pool
Location: Asheville, NC
Start Date: 04/21/2025
Shift: Night Shift
Shift Hours: 6:45 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Duration: 13 weeks
On Call: As required by facility

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of RNs and physicians.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes.
• Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and vital signs monitoring.
• Maintain accurate documentation in patient records.
• Support multiple units as part of the float pool.

Requirements:

• Active LPN license (NC or Compact State) – Required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med-Surg experience – Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (AHA) – Required
• Ability to float between units as needed – Required
• Flexibility for rotating weekends and holidays – Required
