An extremely reputable high-end nation-wide developer / construction group operating across Texas and I are seeking a Director of Architecture, for the development of a vast and ambitious Ultra-Luxury Community development in Austin, Texas.
The overall development will be well in excess of $500m, and in terms of Longevity of employment, there will be at least 10 years of development.
Responsibilities
- As Director of Design, you will hit the ground running and lead the Design & Architectural function for the entire development - overseeing the design team and consultants.
- You will be an exceptional relationship manager, driving architectural and other engineering consultants to produce high-quality designs from concept through construction documents.
- You will work closely with the construction team in the selection and pricing of all finish selections and architectural Selections, and you must be able to schedule and budget.
- Ability to work with high end, clients, and all other related departments, including sales, development, construction, marketing.
- Min 10 years Design / Architectural experience in Luxury developments
- Degree in Architecture
- Outstanding 1-1 client facing skills
