AAAR Hotels is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and oversee all aspects of hotel operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, driving revenue growth, managing daily operations, and fostering a positive team environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, sales, and food & beverage services.
- Ensure an outstanding guest experience by maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and occupancy.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and control costs to achieve financial targets.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team to ensure operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all brand standards, local, state, and federal regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with guests, employees, and the local community.
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive bookings and brand awareness.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and service quality.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hotel management experience, preferably within IHG brands or similar select-service hotels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of hotel operations software (e.g., Opera, OnQ, PMS) is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
