Job Requirements
The Cambria Hotel Lake Placid is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing all necessary repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure a safe, attractive, and efficiently operated hotel.
Responsibilities:
- Perform heavy work, exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently and up to 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Stand during the entire shift
- Climb and descend stairs during their shift
About the Position:
This role requires a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including compliance with Company dress code and wearing a nametag when working.
Qualifications:
- Previous hotel or related field maintenance experience preferred
- A working ability with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry is needed, and formal training in at least one of these disciplines is preferred
- English skills are required
