Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Shuttle Driver to join our team. Duties
- Safely drive shuttle vehicles to transport passengers according to scheduled routes.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shuttle vehicle, performing regular inspections and maintenance checks.
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes in service.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Handle any passenger inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, particularly for passengers with mobility challenges or luggage.
Skills
- Experience in paratransit services is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in commercial driving, including experience as a school bus driver or van driver.
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting as needed during passenger assistance or vehicle maintenance.
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and ability to navigate local routes efficiently.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus, demonstrating reliability and punctuality in transportation roles.
