This position is responsible for maintaining the building and grounds and monitoring all shop machines and equipment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain all electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure it is operating properly
- Responsible for maintaining production and support equipment (systems: electrical, control and mechanical)
- Interpret engineering drawings and schematics to maintain the operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment of complex parts
- Manage the preventative maintenance schedule and complete work orders as scheduled
- Implement and coordinate preventative maintenance
- Refurbish, modify and install production support equipment as necessary
- Keep work area and machinery clean and free of clutter
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operation
- Ability to become certified in Lockout Tagout
- Ability to become certified in Chemical Handling
- Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation
- Basic computer skills
Experience: 5 years maintenance experience, 3-phase power and distribution

Qualifications & Skills:
- Maintenance experience: CNC repair, facilities, electrical, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing
- Proven experience with automation controls
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret blue prints and technical procedures
- Ability to use measuring equipment
- Ability to safely operate an overhead JIB cranes
- Ability to be on-call 24/7 and work all assigned hours
- Independent self-starter requiring little to no supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail in fast-paced work environment
