The Supply Specialist plays a vital role in managing all phases of the procurement program, coordinating and planning to secure high-quality items at the lowest cost while maintaining optimal inventory levels and up-to-date system data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace
- Assists with procuring equipment, materials, services, and supplies
- Processes purchase requisitions and purchase orders, ensuring approval validation
- Works with suppliers to obtain quotes and bids
- Coordinates item lifecycles, including returns
- Manages the matching process for PRs & POs
- Monitors and tracks key performance indicators
- Coordinates department communications
- Assists in standardizing and entering system data
- A results-driven problem solver
- Additional duties as assigned by management
- Collaborates with internal business partners to document and resolve supplier and/or supply issues
- Makes purchasing decisions according to company procedures and regulations
- Builts strong relationships with internal and external partners, fostering collaboration and teamwork
- Helps document processes/training tools and implements efficiencies
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to read and write English to complete required documentation
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel)
- 1 year of purchasing experience
- Strong interpersonal skills for developing trusting relationships with internal and external partners
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field or equivalent
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Basic math and analytical skills
- Strong computer skills using Oracle, Tableau, and complex Excel spreadsheets

- Strong organizational skills
