Cambridge Position Overview: Cambridge is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for lab and clinical in their Practical Nursing Program. All program options are offered at the Altamonte Springs, FL campus over a 7.5 week session beginning May 2025.

Position Details:
The adjunct instructor will:
- Deliver program curricula in a clinical/lab/simulation setting;
- Engage in student clinical performance and clinical evaluations;
- Incorporate effective teaching strategies in the lab/clinical setting;
- Identify and assist at-risk students;
- Recommend the purchasing of supplies and equipment to enhance student learning;
- Participate in programmatic meetings (Curriculum, Advisory, etc.) when needed;
- Support program and institutional initiatives;
- Maintain ACEN Standards, Florida Board of Nursing Standards;
- Integrating and learning ATI & Evolve Products as needed (or willing to learn);
- Blackboard knowledge (or willing to learn);
- Be a dynamic, organized, strategic thinker with great creativity, excellent communication skills and a passion for education;
- Provide three professional references upon request;
- Possess a current and non-restricted FL Nursing license.
Job Requirements: For consideration, the right organized applicant must have:
Required Educational Background and Experience:
- An Associate degree from a regionally accredited program
- Current CPR Basic Life Support certification
- Registered Nurse license, active, valid, and unencumbered state licensure in FL
- For clinical: Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience in general Med/Surg field. Pediatrics and Obstetric experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to build successful relationships with students and faculty.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Computer-based skills (i.e., software, analytical, and report writing skills) and experience with computerized learning management systems.
