Contract Type : Permanent | Full Time Hours of work : 37.5 hours per week Schedule : Monday to Friday, 09 : 00 – 17 : 30 Place of work : Hybrid working both in the office and from home Rate of pay : £35,000 - £50,000 per annum The role : This key role will be managing the company payroll operations across multiple countries (UK, USA and Europe), ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, alongside compliance with local labour laws, tax regulations and company policies. Key responsibilities include : Payroll Processing & Compliance : o Oversee end-to-end payroll processes, across multiple countries, ensuring accurate payroll calculations, including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and benefits. o Maintain compliance with local tax regulations, labour laws, and company policies. o Handle US employee payroll-related tax filings, garnishments, and year-end reporting (e.g., W-2s, 1099s). o Manage year-end payroll activities, tax filings, and audits in various jurisdictions. o Ensure all federal / state taxes are assessed and reported correctly. Vendor & System Management : o Manage relationships with global payroll providers and external vendors. o Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of payroll systems. o Ensure seamless integration between payroll, HR, and finance systems. o Work with the Head of HR in Identifying and implementing payroll process efficiencies, automation, policies and procedures. Reporting and reconciliation o Complete all accounting requirements, work with finance in reconciling payroll accounts and resolving discrepancies, including journals o Generate payroll and budget reports, metrics and analysis Specific Payroll Tasks o Manage / process CC’s pension auto enrolment liabilities and re-enrolment obligations. o Ensure all UK pension information is submitted monthly and employee communications sent in a timely manner. o Manage the US team 401K pension plan, benefit & healthcare options. Other Tasks o Support employee benefits management and processing o Managing the payroll budget o Ad-hoc tasks and projects To be successful in this role you must have UK payroll management experience with knowledge of payroll regulations, compliance and processes. Proficiency in payroll software is also essential. Experience within a global / multi-country setting along with a recognised qualification (e.g. CIPP) is desirable but not essential.
