Job Summary
We are seeking an HR Business Partner to provide expert HR knowledge, support and guidance to CATS Academy Boston. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with senior management and the wider HR team based in the UK to deliver a high-quality HR service. This is a stand-alone role based onsite 5 days per week, providing autonomy and ownership of HR processes while being supported by the wider HR team.

Main Responsibilities
- HR Business Partnering:
- Provide support, advice and guidance to line managers and employees on HR policies and procedures, employee relations issues and organisational change.
- Partner with senior management to develop strategic people plans for their schools and brands.
- Ensure management is enabled to lead on the delivery of the full employee lifecycle.
- Promote employee engagement by analysing data from engagement surveys and working with schools to implement actions.
- Champion the completion of high-quality annual appraisals and support learning needs.
- Deliver central communication across their region.
- Support the business on a wide range of HR projects.
- Work collaboratively with other HR Business Partners to ensure a consistent approach to HR service delivery.
- Monitoring and Compliance:
- Analyse HR reports and drive KPI improvements.
- Work with the Global HR Admin Team and US Finance to produce accurate HR administration.
- Monitor absence and support line managers to manage effective absence management.
- Champion the use of Paylocity HRIS and Payroll system.
- Work with the admin team to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Process and track CORI and Fingerprinting background checks.
- Learning and Development:
- Deliver training sessions on people management practices.
- Collaborate with senior management teams to ensure a collaborative approach to training delivery.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of staff induction at corporate and school level.
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Work with the central Talent Team and Senior Team to manage recruitment processes.
- Attend panel member interviews and contribute to decision-making process.
- Onboard new employees and complete necessary paperwork.
Person Specification
- Academic:
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
- Knowledge & Experience:
- Excellent knowledge of Employment Law.
- Experience with Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9) and E-Verify.
- Demonstrable experience across generalist HR activities.
- Demonstrable experience handling complex HR issues.
- Experience working in a fast-paced company.
