Prek-6 Enrichment Teacher/Assessment Coordinator

Cambridge Elementary School is seeking a 1.0 FTE full-time enrichment teacher. The teacher will assist with identification of students in preschool through grade 6 who are in need of accelerated math and/or literacy instruction and help to develop and implement flexible, individualized, and enriching learning opportunities for these students. Additionally, this teacher will be responsible for creating opportunities for schoolwide enrichment experiences such as artists in residence, guest performances, engineering classes, and more! Finally, this teacher will be responsible for oversight of the administration of state and locally mandated assessments.The ideal candidate will -have knowledge and understanding of the learning needs of students in need of acceleration. -have experience implementing researched best practices in literacy and math instruction. -become an active member of the entire school team, communicating frequently and regularly with colleagues as well as parents.
