Job Summary:
The Home and Community Based Services Aide is responsible for providing support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions, enabling individuals to remain in their own homes. This role requires strong communication skills, flexibility, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report observations and incidents to the Agency Director or Accounts Manager
- Drive safely and comply with traffic regulations when conducting business travel
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, nail care, and skin care
- Perform household tasks essential to clients' personal care
Requirements:
- Six months of experience in home care preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours as required by patients' needs
- Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
- Able to work independently and adapt to changing situations
