Person hired for our Data and Information Systems Lead will perform the following types of tasks/functions:

ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES

Person hired for our Data and Information Systems Lead will perform the following types of tasks/functions:
- Deliver seamless integrated information systems and technology
- Provide an intuitive UX so the right users can access the right data at the right time forthe right reason.
- Characterize, shape, and normalize all data in the Enterprise Information Environment (EIE)
- Continually improve and maintain IT and Cyber systems performance
- Accountable across the entirety of the SCITES 2 program ensuring IT and cyber systems relevant, data-centric, and integrated into USSOUTHCOM decision support frameworks
- Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of training, experience and education
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT II Certification (Security , CCNA-Security, CySA , CND)
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT III or IAM III (CASP, CCNP, CISA, CISSP, CCISO)
- IT and Professional Certifications such as ITIL4, CDMP, CDPSE, PMP, CCNP, etc
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
- Spanish Language Proficiency
- In rare occasions, overnight travel may be required

- Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday
- Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc
- May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site
