Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has a full-time Financial/Pricing Analyst opportunity available based in Arlington, VA.
ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES
- Develop pricing workups along side of the Proposal and Operations Groups in support of compliant and strategic bid proposals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to gather data and provide pricing recommendations
- Develop and maintain pricing tools and systems to ensure data accuracy and efficiency
- Manage pricing projects, ensuring that project goals and timelines are met
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market dynamics to inform pricing strategy
- Provide regular reporting and analysis on pricing performance and market trends
- Analyze pricing data from industry standards, previous sales trends and competitors and report data to decision-makers
- Conduct market research and analyze competitor pricing to inform pricing strategy
- Conduct Revenue & Cost analyses to inform overall bidding strategy
- Supports development of Incurred Cost Submissions, Provisional Rates and other indirect rate analyses
- Assists with the development of the annual budget preparation and analysis
- Support all forms of data requests from DCAA, DCMA, external auditors and regulatory agencies
- Support monthly closing process, as needed
- Perform special projects as needed
- Analyze projects cost/results for accuracy, allocability, allowability and trends
- Perform cost controls standard procedures on multiple projects under multiple programs and customers
- Produce, review, provide analysis of program and company financial reports
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly/annual financial variances to actuals, forecast, budget, and prior year
- Review, code and make recommendations on project commitments for project coding, personnel, and purchase requisitions/purchase orders
- Must be proficient in using different technologies such as computers and other tools and systems pertinent to the position
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in pricing, market analysis, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with pricing tools and software a plus
- Cambridge International Systems complies with Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements. If this position requires OCONUS travel (listed above), Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil lists applicable current vaccination requirements by location
- Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday
- Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc
- May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site
