MN Teaching License, or if you have a four-degree you can obtain a Short Call Substitute License from PELSB.
Succesful background check required
Experience working with children preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Patience, flexibility, love for children, confidentiality, team work, self starter, take direction easily, excellent communication skills, behavior management skills, and lead classrooms.

Specific Tasks:
Effectively manage a classroom of students by keeping them on task and dealing with any behavioral issues. Assume all duties and responsibilities of the absent teacher as assigned. Follow lesson plans left by the regular classroom teacher. Supervise and ensure safety of students during classroom hours. Maintain a positive learning environment. Leave feedback and notes for the regular classroom teacher about the day. Supervise non-classroom duties when assigned. Willingness to be flexible to complete duties unrelated to original assignment
Hours Per Day:
Temporary assignment, for the 24-25 school year only.
7.5 hours per day
Assigned to Cambridge Middle School for all student contact days.
