What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaner/Housekeeper position at Cambridge Metropolitan Housing Authority?
Performs a variety of custodial/janitorial tasks in order to ensure the cleanliness and readiness of rental apartments (e.g., vacuums, sweeps, mops and waxes floors, empties receptacles, washes walls, windows, woodwork, baseboards, mirrors, furniture and equipment (e.g., stoves, refrigerators, toilet, tub, etc.); cleans and sanitizes restroom area).
Relays observation of any possible issues regarding apartment maintenance or service problems to Maintenance Manager.
Conducts final inspection of units and documents the same.
Performs unskilled labor in order to assist with the efficient operation of the Housing Authority (e.g., paints, plows salts, unloads delivery trucks, etc.).
Performs custodial services for the facilities of the Housing Authority (e.g., vacuums hallways, dusts, cleans and sanitizes restrooms, empties receptacles, washes walls, etc.).
Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable OSHA safety standards that pertain to essential functions.
