What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Instructional Assistant - Track & Field 1:1 position at Cambridge Middle School?
Qualifications/Experience:
High School Diploma/GED and passed ParaPro/Para Educator testing (or 60 college credits) required.
A successful background check is required.
Prefer experience working with children.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Patience, flexibility, love for children, confidentiality, teamwork, self-starter, takes direction easily, excellent communication skills, behavior management skills, assist in the classroom and in special education classroom.
Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self-discipline, and honesty.
Specific Tasks:
Work iwth one student during Track & Field season, including on athletic shuttle from CMS to CIHS and during track meets. See the job description for additional information.
