What are the responsibilities and job description for the Development of data-driven curriculum improvements (grades 1-8) position at Cambridge Public Schools?
Description of Service Opportunity:
We are seeking highly motivated, detail-oriented educators with strong knowledge of the CPS ELA curriculum, research-based practices and culturally responsive pedagogy, to develop data-driven improvements and digital enhancements to the ELA curriculum.
Participants will review student and staff survey data, solicit high quality teacher-created resources, and digitize cohesive revisions and supplements across a singular grade level (1st-8th) between April 20th - June 30th.
Minimum Requirements:
Ability to create, edit and format google docs, slides and PDFS.
Ability to conditionally format and formula excel spreadsheets.
Ability to write strong, cohesive lesson plans that align to the format, language and structure of existing curricula.
Ability to create, shortcut, organize and link shared drives and folders to the district’s ELA website.
Ability to solicit, review and embed high-quality teacher-developed slides, supplements and Pause Point activities.
Length of Contract:
April 20, 2025 through June 30, 2025
Contract Amount:
Not to exceed $3200.00
Please note that your hourly rate is dependent upon your collective bargaining agreement or individual hourly rate. If you are a non-exempt employee and have worked more than 40 hours a week, you will be paid time and a half for any hours worked over 40 hours.
