Description of Service Opportunity:
The CRLS ELL Summer Program Coordinator will plan the summer program logistics for ELs in grades 9-12. The candidate will be responsible for:
- Working collaboratively with the Director of ELL Programs, families, and teachers in the summer program
- Leading the recruitment, registration, and placement process students for the ELL Summer Program and Mayor’s Summer Youth Program
- Hire ESL and Math Summer Teachers
- Planning any necessary food services for the summer
- Developing the ESL and Math summer curriculum units
Minimum Requirements:

- Must have a Master’s in ESL/ELL and at least 5 years working with underserved ELL student populations in high school
Length of Contract:
February 01, 2025 through June 30, 2025
Contract Amount
$40.00 per hourly, Not to exceed $2400.00
Please note that your hourly rate is dependent upon your collective bargaining agreement or individual hourly rate. If you are a non-exempt employee and have worked more than 40 hours a week, you will be paid time and a half for any hours worked over 40 hours.
