Description of Service Opportunity:
- Ola After School Teachers needed to support Portuguese Language Learners the K-5 Ola program schools at King Open. The Ola After school program will provide academic support In Portuguese language development in an interactive and social environment.
- Work: 4.5 hours/week
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university, courses in second language acquisition, and/or applied linguistics. A minimum of 1-year experience working with multilingual learners in a linguistically diverse or urban school setting.
Proficiency in Portuguese is required.
Length of Contract:
January 1, 2025 through May 29, 2025
Contract Amount
$60.00 per hourly, Not to exceed $4200.00
Please note that your hourly rate is dependent upon your collective bargaining agreement or individual hourly rate. If you are a non-exempt employee and have worked more than 40 hours a week, you will be paid time and a half for any hours worked over 40 hours.
