Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of administrative staff within the treatment area.
- Patiently and effectively work with dental insurance companies
- Create, submit and follow up on dental claims
- Be able to explain insurance benefits to patients
- Correctly calculate and collect a patient's copayment
- Ensure efficient patient scheduling and manage appointment systems to optimize workflow.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to facilitate effective treatment plans and patient care.
- Train and mentor staff on office procedures, medical terminology, and best practices in patient management.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency within the treatment area.
Skills
