Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Dental Hygienist. The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for performing routine dental cleanings, dental prophylaxis, and providing periodontal disease treatments. The role also involves educating patients on oral hygiene and dental care. This is an on-site position located in Cambridge, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance.
• Assess patients’ oral health, including charting and performing oral cancer screenings.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
• Take digital X-rays and other diagnostic imaging.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures when needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Skills in Dental Prophylaxis and Dental Care
• Experience in Hygiene and Dentistry
• Capability to diagnose and treat Periodontal Disease
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Relevant certification and/or licensure as a Dental Hygienist
• Experience in a clinical setting is a plus
