Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course State License 1 Verification Job Details 5S Trauma Stepdown (IMC / PCU) RN 3x12 or 4x12 Nights 7p-7a, weekdays, EOW, float 25 Floor Beds, 6 Step-Down Beds, 6 Peds Beds. Multidisciplinary team approach in providing nursing care to multi-system-injured trauma patients and surgical patients. A six-bed intermediate care stepdown unit provides an intermediate level of care. Ideal candidates could have a background of PCU, IMC, Trauma, SDU. Travelers would not be required to see the Peds patients. It is possible that the unit could use a traveler for floor beds only – this will be discussed at interview. Ratios : Floor RN : 1 : 5 / SDU : 1 : 3 Orientation / Start Dates held every other week on Thursday. 2 Years of RN Experience Required; 1 Year in-specialty Experience required. 1st Time Travelers Accepted if experienced in ICU / Trauma. 36 or 48hr contract options. Every other weekend required. Job Requirements 2 Years of RN Experience Required. 1 Year in-specialty Experience required. WV / Compact RN License required - can submit with pending RN license. Schedule Information 3x12 or 4x12 Nights 7p-7a, weekdays, EOW, float. Every other weekend required. Unit Specific Information Clinician can be floated within scope to meet facilities needs. Open to accommodating blocked schedule requests. Submission Requirements : Perm employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 years after last day worked perm. Additional Details BLS, ACLS required. Physical must be completed within 1 year of start and updated annually. Flu Shot : Please DO NOT SEND ANYONE WHO REFUSES FLU SHOT WITHOUT MEDICAL PROOF.
