Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Safety Protocols : Design and enforce patient safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks and improve overall patient care.
- Monitor and Analyze Data : Collect, analyze, and report on patient safety data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct Training and Education : Provide training and education to healthcare staff on patient safety practices and protocols to ensure compliance and awareness.
- Investigate Incidents : Lead investigations into patient safety incidents, identify root causes, and develop corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams : Work closely with medical, nursing, and administrative staff to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with all relevant patient safety regulations, standards, and guidelines set forth by accrediting bodies and government agencies.
- Patient Advocacy : Serve as an advocate for patients' safety, rights, and well-being, addressing concerns and complaints related to patient care.
