Job Summary
With a patient centered culture, the Senor Application Analyst, Physician Services will provide a positive experience to CUSTOMERS / PATIENTS / COMMUNITY by providing functional support, design, instruction, oversight and guidance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications, enabling the successful adoption and utilization within the business operation at the System and applicable facilities. These responsibilities include but are not limited to developing system strategies with management and other stakeholders, conducting business needs analyses, identifying and mitigating project risks, vendor management, supporting the applications users and assisting in the implementation of all business systems application projects.
Responsibilities
Analysis and Solution DefinitionQuickly understands the business issues and data challenges of the organization and industry. Identifies the organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement. Develops functional requirements, specifications and system design specifications for business requests. Develops or oversees the development of system documentation, user manuals and training classes for the application suite. Creates and maintains detailed test plans and scripts. Leads testing efforts and ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner. Project ExecutionEvaluates current state processes and identifies gaps to future state process around utilization of applications to maximize departmental and organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Communicates and applies project standards. Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules. Takes input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments / feedback. Manages resources in accordance with project schedule. Consistently delivers high-quality services to business stakeholders. Understands the components of running a fiscally successful project. Must be willing to travel to Health System facilities to perform job duties.CommunicationAssists in the facilitation of team and client meetings. Delivers informative, well-organized presentations. Understands how to communicate difficult / sensitive information tactfully. Participates in support on-call rotation.Problem SolvingPrioritizes and resolves issues. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Light Work : Exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and / or up to 10 lbs. frequently and / or negligible amounts constantly. Must be willing to travel locally to other system locationsMust be willing to respond to major incidents and support 24 / 7.At least five years' experience in or supporting ERP functions, supporting applications or working in the business support (Finance, Supply Chain, Payroll, HR) area. Expertise in a minimum of two healthcare ERP application modules / applications as a super user or information technology support analyst. Proven ability to understand business and financial issues and objectives as well as the ability to translate them into application solutions. Possesses understanding in the areas of application configuration and database concepts. Established project manager of large-scale large projects of 2-6 team members, with experience executing on structured Project Management methodology. Preferred experience with Kronos, Lawson, Workday, MedSeries products.
