Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Job Specialty : Interventional Radiology

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day, 4x10-Hour (07 : 30 - 18 : 00)

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum 2 years required in Interventional Radiology

License : WV or Compact License - Pending permissible

Certifications : BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association)

Must-Have :

  • Minimum 2 years RN experience
  • Interventional Radiology experience
  • Willingness to be on call every 5th weekend

Job Description :

  • Perform interventional radiology procedures including angiogram, fistulogram, permacath insertion, EVAR, TCAR, TAVR, MitraClip, mechanical thrombectomy, and embolization.
  • Care for patients with diagnoses such as CKD, CAD, PAD, PVD, stenosis, AAA, stroke, and aneurysm.
  • Maintain a 1 : 1 staffing ratio for adult and geriatric patients.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, with a requirement to discuss details with the manager during the interview.
  • Ability to float to other labs as needed.
  • Participate in orientation, including 16 hours of non-billable training over the first two days in a classroom setting, followed by unit orientation.
  • Completion of non-billable modules, which average 2-4 hours, varying by specialty, included in orientation hours.
  • Commitment to taking the flu vaccine or providing documented medical proof of allergy during flu season (October 1st - March 31st). COVID-19 vaccine not required.
