Certification Details

  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
  • TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
  • Primary Source Verification must be run within 30 days of start date
  • NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN / LVN, AP)

Job Details

  • Emergency Department RN
  • 3x12 or 4x12 Nights 7p-7a, weekdays, every other weekend, float
  • Start date : Orientation / Start Date held every other week on Thursday
  • Ratios : 3 : 1
  • Patient Population : Adults / Geriatrics
  • Years of experience REQ : 2 Years of Experience Required; 1-Year Minimum in-specialty experience required.
  • First-Time travelers accepted if they have appropriate experience
  • Weekend REQ : Every other weekend required
  • No call requirements
  • Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? If needed
  • Blocked schedules offered
  • Radius Rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval)
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 or 48 - RNs choice. OT AFTER 48hrs for 4x12s

    • Job Requirements

  • IV Start and Telemetry experience
  • Non-Trauma ED Experience
  • Cardiac Monitoring / Emergency Response : Interpretation & Management of dysrhythmias
  • IV Therapy / Phlebotomy : Blood Product Administration; Central line care / management, Phlebotomy, and Starting IV
  • Medications : Conscious IV sedation, IV Vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration
  • Respiratory / Thoracic : CPAP / BiPAP, Interpretation of ABGs, Ventilated Patients
  • CERNER experience REQUIRED
  • Pending License accepted : WV / Compact RN License required - can submit with pending RN license but must have active WV / Compact RN license in hand to submit

    • Schedule Information

  • 3x12 or 4x12 Nights 7p-7a
  • Weekdays, every other weekend
  • Orientation / Start Date held every other week on Thursday

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Candidates are not allowed to start with certs pending or are permitted to complete onsite.

    • Additional Details

  • Valid Drivers License is required. Candidate will not be considered without this.
  • Social Security Card required. Must be legible.
  • Please require if the candidate is working on a compact license. Driver's license must match compact state license.
