2E SVIMC / PCU RN
3x12 or 4x12 NIGHTS 7p-7a weekdays, every other weekend, float
Orientation held every other week on Thursday
Unit Description : 15 Beds. Priority 2 transfers from the ICU requiring intermediate level care. New monitoring system with invasive monitoring capability. Can monitor Arterial pressures and central venous pressures. Patient population includes adult and pediatric surgical and vascular clients requiring close cardiac monitoring.
Ratios : 1 : 3
Skills Req : Cardiac Tele / Telemetry experience required; Post TAVR (Transcatheter aortic valve replacement) designated unit; Post CEA and Post femoral popliteal bypass patient population; Invasive line monitoring; Transvenous pacemaker / Chest tubes; Critical medication administration; Respiratory ventilation management; Interpretation of dysrhythmias; Management of dysrhythmias
Years of experience REQ : 2 Years
First-timers accepted : Yes - if experience requirements met
100mi. Radius Rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval)
36hrs guaranteed
RTO Restrictions : Please limit holiday RTO requests to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays.
Job Requirements
WV / Compact RN License required - can submit with pending RN license
2 Years of experience required
BLS, ACLS required; PALS preferred, not required
Valid Drivers License is required. Candidate will not be considered without this.
Social Security Card required. Must be legible.
Please require if the candidate is working on a compact license. Driver's license must match compact state license.

Flu Shot : Please DO NOT SEND ANYONE WHO REFUSES FLU SHOT WITHOUT MEDICAL PROOF. CAMC requires all personnel take flu vaccine unless they have allergy documented by an allergist or physician record. CAMC FLU SEASON IS OCTOBER 1st - MARCH 31st. NOT REQUIRED OUTSIDE OF THAT WINDOW.
Covid Vaccine NOT required
