Description
Responsible for transferring blended product from the mixers to tank/totes.
Following Blending Transfer Instructions:
- Read and meticulously follow instructions provided on the blending sheet.
- Log lot numbers accurately to maintain traceability.
Material Preparation:
- Identify the correct blended materials required for transfer.
- Retrieve the necessary items and prepare the blending transfer area.
Safety and Quality Assurance:
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure safety, integrity, and product quality.
- Promptly recognize and report any safety issues related to products or equipment.
Independent Work and Team Collaboration:
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Foster good work habits and consistently follow established processes.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Keep blending transfer equipment operational by:
- Following operating instructions.
- Troubleshooting breakdowns.
- Requesting repairs when needed.
Communication and Dependability:
- Be a team player with strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Exhibit punctuality and regular attendance as per company policy.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate a standup forklift
- Ability operate a RF scan gun
- Ability to focus and stay on task
- Basic math skills
- Capability to lift 50 lbs. throughout the shift
- Adaptability to change
- Willingness to wear safety equipment, including safety glasses, steel toe boots, respirator, and dust mask.
- Ability to pass the respirator fit test
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-2 years of manufacturing blending transfer experience
- Light computer work; printing labels, using internal systems, etc…
