Maintenance Planner

Overview:
As a Maintenance Coordinator, Planner, and Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective planning, coordination, and scheduling of maintenance activities to optimize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. You will collaborate closely with maintenance teams, engineers, and operations staff to achieve efficient maintenance workflows and uphold safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop detailed maintenance plans and schedules based on preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate with maintenance supervisors to prioritize work orders and allocate resources effectively.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime and production disruptions.
- Resource Allocation and Coordination:
- Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials required for scheduled maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with external contractors or vendors for specialized maintenance tasks.
- Optimize resource utilization to achieve cost-effective maintenance operations.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance schedules.
- Update maintenance databases or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) regularly.
- Generate reports on maintenance performance, backlog, and key metrics.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during maintenance activities.
- Conduct safety inspections and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
- Collaborate with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department to address safety concerns.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in maintenance planning and scheduling.

- Participate in root cause analysis and reliability-centered maintenance initiatives.
- Communication and Collaboration:

- Collaborate with other departments to optimize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or coordination within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to maintenance activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse teams.

- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
