Certification Details BLS Job Details Calling all Med Surg RNs WV facility is looking for RN's to work 13 week assignments. This area is 2 hours from 3 ski resorts, has lots of outdoor activities, and lots of culture. Job Requirements BLS and WV or compact license is required. Must have experience with ortho patients & PCA Pumps. Schedule Information 12 Hour Shifts : 0700-1930; 1900-0730 w / a 1 / 2 hour lunch break. Perm staff does self-scheduling. Travelers will be scheduled where they are needed. Weekend Requirement : Every-other-weekend. Weekend shifts for Nights are Fri / Sat / Sun; Days are Sat / Sun. Holiday Requirement : Holidays will depend on the needs of the unit. Unit Specific Information Common titratable & / or set rate drips : IV Fluids & PCA pumps. No heparin or other drips. Remote tele if needed, monitored by the 3rd floor. RN's do not have to read strips. Floating Requirements : Travelers are the 1st to float. Floating is required to any MedSurg units. Additional Details ALL SUBMITTALS MUST INCLUDE A UNEXPIRED COPY OF THE CANDIDATES DRIVES LICENSE. Unit : 4N Ortho - Neuro (1033) of beds : 33-Beds, All private rooms Ratios : 1 to 6 Common diagnoses / Types of patients : A lot of elective surgeries : hips, knees, shoulders; some fractures from falls; back & neck (Neuro-surgeries), as well as general MedSurg. Charge Nurse / House Supervisor : They have a Charge Nurse 24 / 7.
