MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Georgia driver's license
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Primary function is maintenance of school system groundsMaintains confidentiality and professionalism regarding student and school system affairsMaintains clean and organized work vehicleMaintains all equipment and toolsIs responsible for ensuring vehicle is serviced and all safety features are properly workingSafely loads, unloads, and secures all equipment, tools, and other items to be transported, either by vehicle or trailerIs responsible for procuring and returning material from / to stockRequisitions needed materials not stockedReports immediately safety hazards which affect the welfare of students and system employeesMaintains safe work siteLifts 70 pounds individually or moves objects up to 140 pounds with assistanceIs able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, feel, talk, hear, crawl, and have depth perceptionWorks indoors and outdoors with exposure to weather including cold, heat, wet, and high humidityFollows written and oral instructionsTrouble-shoots and makes minor repairs in electrical problemsTrouble-shoots and makes minor repairs in plumbing problemsDoes framing work and hangs sheetrockMakes minor repairs in floor covering, suspended ceilings, gutter, concrete, door hardware, and / or masonryReads electrical drawingsPerforms other such duties as assigned from time to timeQualified applicants should complete the online application, attach a cover letter and resume
