Position: Secretary/Clerk – Central Office Special Education Department

Salary: Based on the 2024-25 Approved Camden County Board of Education Salary Schedule
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Five years of clerical experience preferred
- Bookkeeping experience preferred
- Proficient in Word & Excel
- Familiarity with web-based software programs to download or create reports for student services, eligibility areas, FTE comparisons of student data and special education purchases
- Familiarity with accounting software and coding of purchases, personnel, and other expenditures
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing, requesting records and records retention
- Performs the usual office practices associated with a productive and smoothly run office
- Exhibits pleasant behavior when dealing with public or other employees
- Establishes and maintains an efficient filing and retrieval system for assigned area
- Interacts positively with staff, students, parents and the community
- Maintains confidentiality and professionalism regarding student and school system affairs
