Reports to : Mountain Operations Manager
Join our Mountain Operations team as a Pump & Compressor Operator, where you'll play a key role in the snowmaking process by operating and monitoring our snowmaking pump and compressor equipment.

Smile!
Focus on safety for yourself and others.
Start, stop, monitor, repair and trouble shoot vertical turbine pumps and centrifugal and screw air compressors.
Provide routine maintenance (i.e. oil levels, vibration checks, cooling checks...) as per manufacturer specifications in a safe and efficient manner.
Keep air and water pressures constant and at desired volumes as directed by the Snowmaking Supervisor.
Complete all log sheets accurately and in a timely manner.
Use PPE as required.
Comply with departmental dress code.
Adhere to customer service standards of Camelback Resort.
Assist with snow removal or road and lot maintenance if needed.
Maintain pump and compressor rooms in a clean and orderly manner.
Report problems or system malfunctions to Snowmaking Supervisor or Mountain
Operations Manager in a timely manner.
Maintain reservoir levels.
Adhere to all company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Comply with all company and departmental safety standards.
All other duties as assigned.
Is this the job for me :
Ability to work well with others required. Must be at least 18 yrs old.
Ability to communicate verbally and through written means required.
Must possess general knowledge of snowmaking layout on mountains.
Must grasp basic concepts of snowmaking.
Contributes to a team environment.
One year of physical labor experience.
Technical skills and understanding a plus.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
Weekend and holiday availability is required as well as flexibility with the work schedule.
During peak seasons, the schedule may require a work week schedule over 40 hours per week, including nights.
Ensure the safety and well-being of our guests.
Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.
Must be able to speak and read the English language, additional languages a plus.
