Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor
Department: Housekeeping
Reports to: Director of Housekeeping
The Housekeeping Supervisor coordinates and supervises Room Attendants to ensure the rooms are cleaned to resort standards in a timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assign guest rooms and common areas to housekeeping staff
- Perform detailed inspections on the cleanliness and supplies of any guest room assigned to them
- Ensure rooms are cleaned and released in a timely manner
- Overseeing staff performance daily
Next Level Duties:
- Answer all calls into department.
- Distribute and log all keys and communication devices and receive them back at end of day.
- Monitor computer systems for timely completion of requests.
- Communicate with other departments as needed.
- Report any guest issues to management.
Must Have Personal Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Previous Supervisory experience preferred
- Able to use technology-especially phone apps
- Able to remain standing or walking for 8-hours shifts
- Able to manage time appropriately
- Interpersonal skills
