- Assist and lead property team with responsibility to ensure the protection of guests, patrons and associates – their property, hotel property, buildings and grounds.
- Enforce resort rules, regulations and policies.
- Promote safety awareness and enforcement throughout the property to reduce accidents and loss by providing training as required.
- Respond to any property emergency.
- Write comprehensive incident reports and conduct thorough investigations.
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day Public Safety department.
Is this the job for me:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2 years’ proven experience in public safety, ideally in a resort setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively coordinate and guide the team.

- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make swift, informed decisions during emergencies.
- Must be flexible with schedule.
- Availability to include weekdays, weekends, evening, and holidays.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of our guests.
- Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to speak and read the English language, additional languages a plus.
- Certified in CPR, First Aid, AED within the first 90 days.
- Certified Security Lodging Officer (CSLO or CSLOS within 6 months of employment)
- Must have Valid Driver License
- Must be able to conduct investigations.
- Conduct routine training for security associates.
- Address and manage complaints or concerns from guests or associates.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Respond to and manage incidents including theft, unauthorized access, and emergencies.
- Monitor and maintain electronic and manual access control systems.
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations and company standards related to security.
- Patrols buildings and grounds, including utilizing computerized surveillance equipment and video monitoring systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
