• Assist and lead property team with responsibility to ensure the protection of guests, patrons and associates – their property, hotel property, buildings and grounds.
• Enforce resort rules, regulations and policies.
• Promote safety awareness and enforcement throughout the property to reduce accidents and loss by providing training as required.
• Respond to any property emergency.
• Write comprehensive incident reports and conduct thorough investigations.
• Manage and supervise the day-to-day Public Safety department.

Is this the job for me:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 
• 2 years’ proven experience in public safety, ideally in a resort setting. 
• Strong problem-solving skills. 
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively coordinate and guide the team. 
• Creates a motivating work environment. 
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make swift, informed decisions during emergencies. 
• Must be flexible with schedule. 
• Availability to include weekdays, weekends, evening, and holidays. 
• Ensure the safety and well-being of our guests.  
• Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.  
• Must be able to speak and read the English language, additional languages a plus.  
• Certified in CPR, First Aid, AED within the first 90 days. 
• Certified Security Lodging Officer (CSLO or CSLOS within 6 months of employment) 
• Must have Valid Driver License 
• Must be able to conduct investigations. 
• Conduct routine training for security associates. 
• Address and manage complaints or concerns from guests or associates. 
• Prepare detailed incident reports and provide recommendations for corrective actions. 
• Respond to and manage incidents including theft, unauthorized access, and emergencies. 
• Monitor and maintain electronic and manual access control systems. 
• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures. 
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations and company standards related to security. 
• Patrols buildings and grounds, including utilizing computerized surveillance equipment and video monitoring systems. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.
