Job Title: Restaurant General Manager

Reports to: Director of Food and Beverage
The Restaurant General Manager oversees all facets of the restaurant. The manager must maintain and supervise a high level of guest service. This is achieved by ensuring consistent and thoughtful service, demonstrated by the restaurant staff. The manager is also responsible for the hiring, training, supervising, and disciplining of the staff. This role reports to the Director of Food & Beverage.

- Oversight of all restaurant promotions, activity calendar, activations & special events, service standards, social media sites, service training & hiring.
- Responsible for Weekly & monthly restaurant forecasts, scheduling, and department profit.
- Analyzes Daily F&B activity to elevate performance, maximize efficiencies while driving average check & restaurant profit.
- High focus on achieving Best in Class social media and guest survey scores.
- Plan and direct all aspects of restaurant operations to include, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation.
- Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, conducting counselling and evaluations, and delivering recognition and reward.
- Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate, and address issues and make improvements accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.
- Initiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services and to maximize overall revenue, including, but not limited to, creating new menus and cross-selling products and services hotel-wide.
- Recruit, interview, and train team members.

- Track record of operating successful concepts.
- Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience and knowledge of budgets and P&L required.
- Minimum of 3 years of quality experience in Food & Beverage operation as well as management experience.
- High degree of interpersonal and guest interaction skills.
- Availability to include weekdays, weekends, evening, and holidays.

- Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to accomplish all major responsibilities and be willing to accept assignments on a as need basis. This includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
