The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Oversight of the snowmaking crew and grounds maintenance staff.
- Ensuring efficient snow production, grounds keeping, snow removal, and trail maintenance.
- Developing and implementing safe work practices for their department.
- Maintaining equipment, snow guns, and hoses.
- Starting and stopping snow guns according to the snowmaking plan.
- Working safely around high-pressure water and compressed air pipelines.
- Navigating steep, snowy, and icy slopes throughout your shift.
- Digging and shoveling snow as needed and assisting other departments when necessary.
- During off-season duties may involve snowmaking maintenance, grounds maintenance, mountain construction, and water park set-up and tear down.
