Camellia Gardens Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Housekeeping Director to lead and oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department. This is a key leadership role for someone who is organized, hands-on, and passionate about maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the housekeeping team and daily cleaning schedules
Ensure all cleaning protocols and safety standards are followed
Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff
Manage housekeeping supply inventory and place timely orders
Conduct routine inspections of resident rooms, common areas, and facility grounds
Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with regulatory guidelines
Collaborate with other department heads to support facility operations
Address and resolve housekeeping concerns or complaints in a timely, professional manner
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications a plus
Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience in healthcare, hospitality, or related field
At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work hands-on alongside the team when needed
Must be flexible and available to work weekends or respond to urgent housekeeping matters
