Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. Duties
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
- Monitor patient health by observing changes in condition and reporting any concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with memory care techniques to promote cognitive engagement.
- Uphold resident rights by respecting privacy, dignity, and independence in all interactions.
- Collaborate with families and other caregivers to deliver comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in patient care or caregiving is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of medication administration practices is essential.
- Familiarity with memory care techniques and working with individuals on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
