SUMMARY
This position provides operational oversight to the Independent Living program serving teens in foster care and teens that have aged out of the foster care system. Responsibilities include assuring delivery of quality services, contract and regulatory compliance, client risk management, and community relations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1) Collaborates and partners with community providers, business leaders, foster care youth, and other community stakeholders to develop an array of services for Independent Living participants.
2) Assures compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements applicable to the Independent Living program.
3) Operates program according to established budget.
4) Develops and maintains an effective data collection/measurement plan including tracking and reporting of critical data to contractors and regulatory bodies.
5) Identifies and secures additional funding sources and/or donors for the program.
6) Creates and implements procedures to assure effective communication and partnerships with participating teens case managers.
7) Assures completion of all required documentation according to contractual and regulatory requirements.
8) Assures completion of all data/documentation entry into required databases.
9) Develops and implements systems to assure that each client receives direct interventions based on need and level of risk.
10) To the extent required by the funder, manages the provision of RTI, Transition and Aftercare funds including monitoring of the budget, submission of cost projections, and completion of all reports.
Qualifications
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position supervises multiple staff including other supervisors.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Masters Degree in a human service discipline and 5 years experience in the child welfare field. A Bachelors Degree with 7 years experience in the child welfare field in lieu of a Masters Degree.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS This position requires the following credentials.
- Valid Drivers License
- Certification as a Child Welfare Professional
- Valid Auto Insurance
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS This position requires the following additional qualifications.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
Salary : $80,000
