We are seeking a skilled Beautician to support our residents’ cosmetic needs. Beautician responsibilities include removing hair, recommending skin care therapies and managing residents appointments. You should be well-versed in beauty treatments, including hairstyling, facials, and hair removal, If you’re able to identify residents’ needs and help them feel good about themselves, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities of Beautician:
- Greet residents upon arrival
- Remove hair using permanent and temporary methods (e.g. electrolysis and waxing)
- Apply hair products, like serum, cream and clay to style hair
- Recommend hairstyles
- Maintain updated residents records (e.g. contact details and treatments)
- Make sure our working area is clean and equipment is sterilized at all times
- Keep track of levels of stock (e.g hair product)
Qualifications & Skills of Beautician:
- High school diploma or equivalency is required
- Must hold current/valid cosmetolgy license.
- Proven work experience as a Beautician, Cosmetologist or similar position; work with senior care is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with hair removal techniques
- Knowledge of beauty products and trends
- Ability to provide personalized services based on each resident requirements
- Degree in Beauty therapy, Cosmetology or relevant field is a plus
