3D Print Production Specialist

• Position: Production Operator - Full time
• Location: Rockford, IL
• Hours: 9-5pm with an hour break for lunch.
• Salary: $45K
• PTO: 11 Days

Job Summary
Assembling and packaging camera accessories and running a 3D printer farm.

If you love making things, improving things, solving puzzles, setting and breaking records, working on and managing several different tasks throughout a day, this is the job for you.

We are looking for a self driven full time employee who can work alone for long stretches of the day without being managed. We are also interested in someone who can delegate and manage part time employees when needed.

Duties

• Running and maintaining a 3D print farm
• Assembling products
• Re-stocking inventory
• Packaging and Shipping products
• Helping improve production workflows and processes
• Managing and delegating tasks to part time employees

Job Requirements

• Willing and able to learn and perform multiple tasks each day
• Willing and able to perform work for long stretches without management or oversight.
• Willing and able to work completely along.
• Willing and able to consistently look for was to improve workflows.
• Willing and able to troubleshoot when things go wrong.
• Willing and able to delegate and manage part time employees.
• Willing and able to show up on time and prepared for work each day
• Willing and able to lift and carry a minimum of 35-50lbs as necessary
• Willing and able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours per day

Optional Experience and Skills

The below experience and skills ARE NOT REQUIRED We are mainly looking for a self driven, self managed employee willing to learn.

Experience (Not required but welcome)

• Experience working with small teams especially young people.
• Experience with 3D printers and 3D printing
• Experience using 3D slicing software and 3D printer management
• Experience with Shopify and online commerce
• Experience in Lean manufacturing, Kansan card systems
• Experience with Instagram and Youtube

Skills (Not required but welcome)

• Willing and interested in constantly improving workflows to save time and make the job easier
• Able to troubleshoot when things go wrong.
• Able to delegate and manage part time employees.
• Interested in setting goals and breaking them
• Skilled with tools (screw drivers, wire strippers, soldering etc).
• Able to use and work on 3D printers.
