Duties
- Operate video cameras and related equipment to capture high-quality footage.
- Collaborate with directors and production teams to understand project goals and vision.
- Set up camera angles, lighting, and sound equipment to achieve desired effects.
- Review footage for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and perform routine checks.
- Assist in editing processes as needed, providing input on shot selection and sequencing.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to enhance production quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Camera Operator or in a similar role within the film or television industry.
- Proficiency in operating various types of cameras and understanding of camera settings.
- Familiarity with lighting techniques and sound recording equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with an artistic eye for composition and framing.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge of video editing software is a plus but not required.
- A degree in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
