- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
- Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician
- to join our team as an
- Associate Medical Director
- in St. Joseph, Missouri. This part-time role (3 days a week) offers an exceptional opportunity to combine clinical excellence with leadership responsibilities.
- Responsibilities :
- Provide high-quality inpatient rehabilitation care to patients recovering from various conditions, including strokes, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other musculoskeletal or neurological disorders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, nurses, and case managers, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Oversee the quality of care delivered in the facility, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and regulatory standards.
- Serve as a leader and mentor to staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Participate in administrative duties as needed, including strategic planning, quality improvement initiatives, and patient outcomes monitoring.
- Qualifications :
- Board Certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
- Active medical license in the state of Missouri or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Prior experience in a leadership or medical director role is preferred but not required.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practices.
