Job Responsibilities
- Customer Site Assessments : Conduct thorough assessments of customer refractory needs, including analyzing existing installations, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending optimal refractory solutions.
- Estimating and Proposal Development : translate customer needs and technical assessments into detailed cost estimates and comprehensive proposals that clearly define the scope, cost, and timeline of refractory projects.
- Application Development- refractory brick and fiber layout and design
- Project Planning & Execution : Develop detailed project plans for refractory installations, including material selection, labor estimates, and timelines. Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to deadlines.
- Technical Expertise : Provide expert guidance to customers on refractory selection, application techniques, and maintenance procedures. Stay abreast of industry best practices and new refractory technologies.
- Collaboration : Work closely with sales teams to support customer needs and develop project proposals. Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Problem Solving : Troubleshoot refractory-related issues at customer sites, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Continuous Improvement : Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's refractory services by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Reporting & Documentation : Maintain accurate records of projects, including site assessments, proposals, and project reports.
- Mentorship : Provide guidance and support to junior engineers or technicians on the team.
