What are the responsibilities and job description for the Immediate Opening: Cameron ISD Childcare Specialist position at Cameron ISD?
Knowledge of policies and procedures per Texas Minimum Standards.
Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
Monitor classroom behavior by using appropriate behavior management; help children learn personal responsibility and respect for fellow students.
Relate to children with courtesy, respect, acceptance, and patience.
Help children learn classroom procedures.
Plan daily activities/lesson plans that correspond with the curriculum promoting early childhood development, emphasizing physical, mental, emotional, and social development.
Have available materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use both in learning activities and imaginative play.
Teach basic skills letters, numbers, shapes, and colors.
Attend to children with personal care needs, which includes changing diapers, potty training, accompanying children to the bathroom, hand washing, feeding or assisting in serving meals, and change of clothes.
Must be professional at all times.
Must pass fingerprinting and background checks.
