Financial Information Systems Manager
Job Details and Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual for this newly created roll to manage the flow of financial data from our point of sales (POS) system into our accounting software. This role ensures accurate and timely integration of financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting, supporting the broader accounting and finance functions. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial data management, POS systems, and accounting software, as well as a strong understanding of financial reporting and controls. This position will support the Finance Team for Cameron Mitchell Restaurants and its sister company, The Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern and will work closely with the Information Technology Department. This individual will report to the Director of Finance and will assist in a multitude of activities, including, but not limited to, the daily, weekly and month integration processes while maintaining accounting principles, best practices, and systems for collecting, analyzing and reporting information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the integration of financial data from the POS system into accounting software, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in transaction data between systems.
- Develop and maintain financial reporting dashboards, including KPIs related to sales, labor costs, profitability and other key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, IT, and leadership teams to provide insights through financial reporting and trend analysis.
- Automate and streamline reporting process to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot data flow issues.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures for financial data integrations.
- Assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal and external audits as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and software updates to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or data management.
- Familiarity with POS systems (e.g., Toast, NCR, Square) and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with data integrations, automation, and reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or other data analysis tools is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and financial teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Familiarity with API integrations or financial data transformation tools.
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation tools
- Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, and Power BI
